  • Attain health & wellness

The System sees a majority of it’s client’s come in when they have exhausted other healthcare & conditioning possibilities

Defining Health & Fitness

Health is the homeostatic measure of the state of all the organ systems of the body & making sure they are functioning optimally:

  • Nervous
  • Muscular
  • Skeletal
  • Ligamentous
  • Tendonius
  • Postural
  • Digestive
  • Assimilation
  • Hydration Status
  • pH Status
  • Detoxification/Elimination
  • Lymphatic
  • Hormonal
  • Hearing
  • Visual
  • Olfactory (smell)
  • Taste
  • Proprioceptive (touch)
  • Metabolic

Fitness is related to the ability to use all the above systems to create performance.

Optimal Health & Fitness can be achieved with the use of appropriate methodologies (i.e conditioning, regeneration & nutrition), to avoid pain & injury, as well as fatigue.

Primary Goal of the Evaluation

If you want to build a fast race car then you need to know what parts of the car make it fast, what are it’s weaknesses etc… the human body is no different.

“Can a Volkswagen become a Porsche? No, but it can become a better performing Volkswagen”

  • The primary goal of the evaluation is determining the degree of disruption to Homeostasis & the subsequent Stress Response to try and bring back the body to a state of optimal function
  • Homeostasis is the tendency toward a stable equilibrium between external elements & the physiological response (“Stress Response”) to the former
  • The System evaluates each client based upon the above criteria to try and resolve the underlying causes of decreased performance, while simultaneously restoring the natural and innate capacity of the body to heal & self-regulate

The System uses:

Integrated Lifestyle Coaching Model (ILCM)

Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA)

ILCM & IPA are extremely thorough & tailored to each individual client to determine why an athlete may be under performing.

The System assesses entire body (including areas not associated with any discomfort, stiffness or weakness) to:

  • Decrease Injury Potential
  • Increase Performance
  • Accelerate Regeneration
  • Increase Athletic Career Longevity

After a thorough client history & detailed questioning of the client, the causes may become more apparent as to what may be occurring. The System taking into account the degree of which the client is stressed & how is the body responding & coping with this stress.

Stress can come from 3 primary areas:

  1. Physical [conditioning, structural/posture, myo-fascial, visceral, cranial, tendon, ligament, skeletal, nervous system, lymphatic, proprioception/balance, circulation, digestion, assimilation, detoxification, elimination]
  2. Emotional [mental & emotional triggers – bridging the gap between the mind & the subconscious body functions (vegetative nervous system)]
  3. Chemical [nutrition, parasites, fungus, bacteria, allergens, heavy metals, chemical toxins & electro-magnetic fields (electronic devices, cellular devices & power lines)]

Any combination of these 3 Areas (physical, emotional & chemical), can cause a disruption of homeostasis, which in turn can influence the others.

If one area is “out”, it can influence the other two, or vice versa.

All 3 components influence Tolerance to Stress & Exercise.
